"Galaxy Trader" casts you as a galactic merchant in the year 2543, just starting out in the Astron Galaxy with a hard-earned space freighter. Armed with 1000 gold pieces, an old laser gun, and four missiles, you launch from space station Lazarus to trade goods, discover new stations, and survive encounters with space bandits. Navigation and speed are manual, and all actions are selected via menu or joystick. When you approach a planet and the S icon turns white, you've found a space station – where you can trade, refuel, repair, or shuttle to the surface. With smart choices and luck, you might even save up for a hyperspace drive – unlocking a new frontier of opportunity.
