Geotrope appears to be a mysterious project of which only an impressive demo exists, strongly evoking a Japanese anime atmosphere. Little actual gameplay is shown, instead the focus lies on a cryptic introduction and accompanying text that create a dark, apocalyptic mood revolving around memory loss, identity, and the impending end of the world. Clues suggest an ambitious experience that aimed to combine modern presentation with experimental technology – but it never progressed beyond this intriguing preview.
