In Gnome Ranger you play Ingrid Bottomlow, a brilliant gnome exiled by her family and teleported into a forest. This text adventure is split into three parts loosely themed around animal, vegetable and mineral. You'll defeat a witch, solve the Riddle of the Shrinking Teapot, and gather precious gems. Commands like FOLLOW, GO TO and GIVE allow you to interact with characters who have their own agendas. Cooperation and item use are key, not map-making. With quirky touches like adding a 'g' to every word starting with 'n' – expect to see things like 'gnorth' and 'gnugget'.
