“Guardian II: Revenge of the Mutants” is a fast-paced sci-fi shooter where you pilot your Mk.II Fighter to protect Earth from a renewed mutant invasion. Enemy Raiders fly across the screen, abducting Earthlings and turning them into Mutants if they reach the top – once all Earthlings are gone, it's game over. If you shoot down a Raider carrying a captive, the Earthling drops, and you must catch and return them safely. Other alien threats include Hive, Dynamo, Technofighter, Firebomber, and Lure. To aid your mission, you have access to a long-range scanner, smart bomb, energy cloak, Hive convergence indicator, and hyperfate drive.
