Gunboat puts you in control of a heavily armed hydrofoil tasked with infiltrating enemy waters to destroy their naval bases. Equipped with deck guns, torpedoes, homing missiles, and depth charges, you're met with resistance from helicopters, subs, and patrol boats. Missile sites and supply depots line the riverbanks, and if the area is quiet, you can dock to refuel or repair. The action unfolds from a tilted side-view perspective. The mission ends when your ship is destroyed, fuel runs out, the engine overheats, or all enemy bases are wiped out.
