Halcyon is a variation of Roc 'n Rope, where the player must navigate through various levels to collect coins while avoiding cavemen and dinosaurs searching for a victim. Unlike Roc 'n Rope, the player cannot use stun rays but must jump from platform to platform to escape the enemies. Collisions with enemies or reaching the zero point of the bonus timer result in losing a life, and the game ends when all lives are used up. Once all coins in a stage are collected, the player must reach a bird on the top platform, which will transport them to the next stage.
