"Hyperthrust" is an action-packed shooter where two rubber balls race across the uneven, bouncy terrain of the planet "Gumball" while collecting points. Players must act within a strict time limit; otherwise, they are eliminated. The setting takes place in a world made of elastic rubber, whose inhabitants — also round rubber balls — compete in athletic challenges. At the center is the thrilling 5,000-mile race, a highlight of the annual "Gum Olympic Games." The challenge is intensified by enemy obstacles that players must eliminate with ray weapons to continue their run.
