Imperium: Der Auftrag presents a German-language science-fiction role-playing game in which you guide a party of four through a multi-stage mission, gradually pushing deeper into a threatening futuristic world. The adventure begins aboard a cargo ship, where you first have to make sure you reach the Triton 5 gas mining colony safely before the real task unfolds: gathering equipment, exploring the colony, and ultimately reactivating the central computer console. That blend of party control, exploration, equipment management, and the feeling of being largely on your own in an isolated space setting gives the game a strong and distinctive appeal.
