“Jimmy's Soccer Manager” is a football management game where you take charge of Kettering Town from the 5th division and aim to lead them to league and cup success. With a squad of 13 players, you assemble a team of 11, without considering formations. Players can be placed on the transfer list to receive offers from CPU teams, or bids may come in via phone at any time. Each week, three players are available for signing, but only one bid can be made. Ticket prices for matches are adjustable, and players may request salary increases. Matches are played out with a moving timer, displaying the score and goal scorers. Training and substitutions during matches are not possible.
