Johnny Parker: Quinta Dimensione begins with the player arriving at the ominous entrance of Minos' labyrinth. A stone archway leads into a dark corridor – anything but inviting. The journey takes them deep into the maze, where puzzles must be solved, secrets uncovered, and dangers overcome. The surroundings are represented through a combination of text descriptions and simple 3D graphics. The player interacts via text commands – exploring locations, making choices, and facing the labyrinth's challenges.
