Katabatia is a classic roguelike for the C64 where you descend 20 dungeon floors to retrieve the Amulet of Yendor and return alive. Choose from three classes and worship one of four gods, sacrificing gold to improve unique stats. Magical weapons, potions and spells help you – some potions can even alter your gear. Controlled via joystick or keyboard, with menus for inventory. You can switch between graphic tiles and text mode, and choose sound effects or SID music. Three endings await – but beware: the dungeon remembers everything.
