In König Arthus, the player assumes the role of a ruler of a dynasty in the 13th century. The objective is to achieve the title of King through skillful management and wise decisions before the ruler's life ends. A map displays the state of the realm, with the size of the castle reflecting the strength of the army. A functioning economy requires sufficient peasants working in the fields. High taxes generate more revenue but slow economic growth. Loans can be taken, but beware: high interest rates could lead to bankruptcy.
