The Legend of Leydon House begins in an old bookshop in Ripon, where you discover a dusty, hand-bound journal. It belonged to an innkeeper from the small village of Gouthwith in the Pennines and covers the years 1794 to 1799. As you flip through its pages, you're captivated by repeated mentions of a mysterious figure known as "Black Matt." The elderly bookseller seems to know more about the story, and so begins your adventure, leading you into the dark secrets of Leydon House.
