The Lonely Mission places you in the role of the commander of the USS Proteus, tasked with evaluating the planet Antares in the Centaur 12 system for colonization. After a long journey, the ship arrives on schedule, and scientific tests begin. But suddenly, the sensors detect intelligent life, and an unexpected tremor shakes the USS Proteus. Before you can react, you are overtaken by events, and everything fades into darkness.
