In Madrax, you explore a labyrinth in the kingdom of Almahagor to collect six Thor idols from Morador's dungeon and thwart the evil plans of the wizard Gothan. Enemies can be defeated using balls, bombs, or a sword, but ammunition is limited. You can also destroy foes by touching them, though this reduces your health. Power-ups like ammo and healing items help you progress. The labyrinth features doors that can either teleport you to new locations or act as traps that cause damage. Along the way, you collect useful items such as lamps for dark areas, keys for locked doors, and ladders to bridge broken paths. Skill and strategy are crucial to stopping Gothan.
