Magic Fields is a challenging puzzle game featuring 99 levels and a saveable high score. The goal is to clear the field by removing all visible shells. Each press of the fire button flips the selected field and the adjacent fields in the four cardinal directions, including the one beneath the player character. A level is completed when no shells remain visible. Players start with three lives, and a time limit demands quick thinking, as running out of time costs a life. Progress cannot be exploited by pausing the game, as the screen is cleared during pauses. After the game ends, players can enter their name in the high score list, saved on the disk. Skill and logic are essential to mastering this challenging game.
