Night Mission Pinball Extended is a reworked and heavily optimized version of a classic pinball game. Up to four balls on screen create chaotic action, and thanks to smart improvements such as removing the old wait-loop, switching to frame-synced processing, refined input handling, optimized memory access, and self-modifying code, the game now runs much smoother even on a standard C64. Owners of a C128 or CPU accelerator using the $d030 register can enjoy butter-smooth 50Hz gameplay even with multiball. The color system has been modernized too, with upgraded graphics and a more thematically fitting bomber.
