Out of this World puts you in the role of a test pilot who becomes stranded in a strange world after a mysterious incident. You fight through side-scrolling stages, blast waves of enemies, and collect a floating symbol to advance to the next area. Defeated foes may drop colored modules that grant temporary weapon upgrades, while any collision with an enemy costs a life. Between stages, intense transition sequences test your reflexes as you dodge or destroy incoming hazards to continue.
