“Peril at Castle Medea” is a text adventure where the player takes on the role of a hero sent to rescue Princess Ilana from the clutches of the sinister Count Doom. Besides freeing the princess, the task also includes seizing the count's treasures, which he amassed by oppressing his serfs. King Richard promises Princess Fatima's hand in marriage as a reward, but the mission is perilous – seven brave men who went before have vanished without a trace. The player navigates through a medieval world full of challenges by entering commands to move, examine objects, or perform actions.
