Pests turns gardening into a small action game in which you protect flowers, remove weeds, and try to score as many points as possible. Different plants are worth different amounts, which gives the simple idea a slight tactical edge. At the same time, the constant movement, spraying, and reacting keep the action feeling pleasantly brisk. The result is a simple but quite entertaining game that gets a surprising amount of charm out of an unusual theme.
