PET Super Baseball

Commodore 64 · 1983 · WOR

Also known as: Pet Super Baseball

· Developer: Jinshi Suzuki & Bill Munch

PET Super Baseball brings baseball to the screen in a highly reduced yet still clearly recognizable form, focusing entirely on the key duels between pitcher, batter, and fielders. Different pitch types and direct batting input ensure that timing and reading the situation correctly remain at the center of play. That simple and no-frills approach gives the game a special appeal, because it captures the essentials of the sport in a very clear way.
