Petrol & Co.

Commodore 64 · 1985 · WOR

Also known as: Petrol And Co.

Publisher: S+S Soft Vertrieb · Developer: Oliver Buck

Petrol & Co. turns the oil business into a dry but surprisingly varied strategy experience in which several players compete for the highest account balance through contracts, material purchases, and protective measures. To succeed, you need to use drilling towers, pipeline sections, tank trucks, and tankers wisely, while also weighing risks and reacting to disruption from rivals or bad luck. The ability not only to build up your own position but also to put deliberate pressure on other players gives the game a satisfyingly sharp edge. The result is a sober but appealing management challenge driven by planning and competition.
