Phun with Phonics is an educational game for the Commodore 64 that teaches English spelling using phonetic cues. The program presents a phonetic spelling and a definition of a word, and players must type in the correct spelling. You can create custom word lists with up to 21 entries, including phonetic notation and definitions. A unique feature is the use of special key codes to represent vowel and stress sounds accurately. If all answers are correct, players get a bonus question at the end.
