Pop-top

Commodore 64 · 1990 · WOR

Publisher: RUN · Developer: Tony Brantner

Pop-Top turns a little clown into a balloon hunter: instead of using a weapon, he launches his hat upward to burst the floating targets. Dangerous objects drift among the balloons, though, and they can destroy the hat and cost you valuable chances. Completing a stage restores lost hats, rewarding careful aim and patient timing. The result is a charming skill game built around a simple idea, shifting opportunities, and the satisfying rhythm of well-placed shots.
