Predictor
Commodore 64 · 1986 · WOR
Publisher: COMPUTE! · Developer: John Krutch
Predictor turns a simple left-or-right choice into a small duel against the computer. You repeatedly make a decision while the program tries to detect patterns in your previous moves and predict your next one. The more predictable you become, the easier it is for the computer to score – so beating it means thinking deliberately unpredictably. This creates a surprisingly engaging thinking game that cleverly combines pattern recognition, deception, and the struggle against your own habits.
