Scarper! puts you in charge of an unusual rescue mission on the planet Tubark: ten escaped programmers have to survive the long walk to the rescue ship. As they march across the landscape, you fly above them and protect the group from attacking Crudilites. Constant fire is risky, though, because excessive shooting also drains your energy, which only recovers when you hold back. This creates a tense escort mission that cleverly combines attack, restraint, and the protection of a vulnerable group.
