Scorpion - Fight Without Mercy

Commodore 64 · 1995 · WOR

Also known as: Scorpion : Fight Without Mercy (EU)

· Developer: The Digital Brain

Scorpion: Fight Without Mercy attempts to carry on the momentum of Turrican 2 with a different main character, but without truly breaking away from its inspiration. The available previews reveal a game built heavily on familiar elements – recognizable visuals, a similar world layout, and a largely intact core feel that lacks its own identity. While the playable area appears sizable and the foundation is technically sound, key features are missing, reinforcing its unfinished nature. Started with ambition and later abandoned, it stands as an intriguing artifact – a competent yet unoriginal reflection of a classic, whose potential was never fully realized.
