Soldier of Light puts you in control of Xain, a warrior traveling from planet to planet to free invaded worlds from evil forces. In fast side-scrolling battles, you dodge attacks by jumping or ducking and reach higher platforms while blasting waves of enemies. Powerful weapons can be collected along the way, though they are lost when you lose a life. Several distinct planets with unique environments are available, and after clearing one, you must safely fly to the next destination. An intense action journey with steadily increasing challenges.
