In Space Race you pilot a V-shaped space racer and try to pass through as many star gates as possible on a slalom-style course. The gates rush toward you while you move your ship left or right to fly through the blue openings and score points. Each gate you successfully pass increases your score. After a total of 30 gates the race ends and your result is displayed. The game features several difficulty levels that affect the speed and challenge, as well as a high score system that encourages you to improve your performance.
