In Space Trader 64 you play as a space merchant traveling between planets to trade goods and build your fortune. You begin with limited funds and must earn money by buying and selling commodities at different locations. With your spaceship you visit spaceports, trade cargo, gather information and improve your ship as your career progresses. As you make profits you rise in the ranks of the Union, gain access to larger ships and unlock new opportunities. The ultimate goal is to gather enough experience and resources to eventually reach the legendary planet Alantia.
