In Space Zap you control a stationary laser base located in the center of the screen. Enemy spacecraft appear from all four sides and launch space mines toward your base. You can fire your laser in the four directions to destroy the attackers before their projectiles reach the center. The action takes place on a fixed screen while the attacks gradually become faster and more intense. Quick reactions and accurate timing are essential to keep the base safe and score points.
