Speed Reading turns the rapid recognition and recall of sentences into a small contest against your own perception. A sentence is shown only briefly, and then you have to reproduce it correctly, challenging not just your reading speed but also your concentration and memory. Because the game works with ever tighter reaction windows, it creates an appealing sense of pressure that makes it a simple but effective exercise in mental speed and recall.
