Spirit of Ben Hur turns solitaire into an unusual card challenge built around four central foundation piles in the “Colosseum.” You try to build each suit upward from ace to king, but have to pay close attention to which cards can actually be played from their row or column. Since the tableau cannot be built freely and empty spaces can only be filled from the waste pile, every move matters twice as much. The appeal lies in careful planning, using as few tableau spins as possible, and gradually uncovering the right path to victory.
