Spirit Tapper turns an odd premise into a direct little action game in which you have to fight your way to a rocker's door in order to rescue the girl at the end. Along the way, you face an entire gang that keeps the pressure on and makes the path to your goal anything but easy. That blend of simple brawling action, quirky story, and deliberately rough-edged style gives the game a distinctive and slightly anarchic appeal.
