Spyders puts you in charge of defending Earth against an invasion of alien spiders. They advance in formation, and your ship must shoot them down before they reach the surface. Fail, and both the game and civilization come to an end. Between the waves you can take cover behind defensive barriers, but these too are gradually destroyed. The pressure mounts as the spiders grow faster and more dangerous with every passing moment.
