Star Wars 64 is a strategy game that puts you in the role of an X-wing pilot. Your mission is to destroy TIE Fighters, Star Destroyers, and ultimately the Death Star. The game is turn-based and played on a galactic grid of quadrants and sectors. Using commands such as sensor scans, photon torpedoes, phasers, and flight control, you navigate your ship through space. Careful management of fuel, shields, and torpedoes is crucial, as is repairing damage when needed. R2-D2 assists you with navigation and can automate some actions. Each mission becomes tougher, with more enemies to face and limited time before the galaxy is lost.
