Starcom sends the player racing across a sloping course in a spaceship while fresh waves of enemies approach at high speed. With movement restricted to forward evasive manoeuvres and ammunition in limited supply, every shot must be carefully considered. The relentless attacks and the risk of continuing without any means of defence create constant tension – there is barely a moment to recover.
