Starglider II opens up a large planetary system where you move between space, planetary surfaces, and underground areas. To destroy an enemy space station, you gather the required parts for a neutron bomb, trade with a professor, and take out shield generators. At the same time, the threat keeps growing, as the station will be completed if you take too long. As a C64 preview, Starglider II remains a fascinating glimpse of an ambitious space adventure full of exploration, time pressure, and tactical decisions.
