Sterne jagen is a simple action game in which you control a green dot inside a confined playfield and hunt the scattered stars. The stars appear to move around the screen and must be hit with carefully aimed shots from the laser cannon before they escape. Before starting, you can choose how many stars should be hunted at once, which changes the difficulty. The goal is to hit as many stars as possible and achieve a high score.
