Strat-o-Fighter III has a small space fighter maneuver along the bottom of the screen through a starfield. Enemy targets and shots approach from above, while the right moment for your own attack has to be found. The reduced presentation makes the balance between dodging and firing especially direct – every decision can immediately decide between safety and being hit.
