The Stroop Effect is based on the 1935 psychological experiment by J. Ridley Stroop, which demonstrates how the human brain processes words and colors differently. The program takes you through three timed tests where you must say aloud the colors of words, even when their meanings conflict. This simple yet fascinating challenge tests focus and concentration, as your brain instinctively wants to read the word instead of identifying the color. A unique mix of science and gameplay that cleverly blends learning with mental reflex training.
