Super Mario Bros III is an unofficial ROM hack that modifies an existing game with Mario-themed elements. Despite its name, it has little in common with the official Super Mario Bros. series. While the character jumps similarly, movement is noticeably slower, and many sprites are incomplete or inconsistently switch between original and modified forms.
