SuperTed turns its child-friendly premise into a surprisingly hectic maze adventure in which you must hunt down several villains, capture them, and get them safely into jail before time runs out. Simply finding them is not enough, because if you take too long, already captured crooks can escape again, while obstacles throughout the castle can also drain your powers. That blend of pursuit, time pressure, and constantly recharging your super abilities gives the game a lively appeal and ensures that there is never a quiet moment inside the castle.
