"Terry's Big Adventure" is a side-scrolling platformer featuring stylized block graphics and numerous platforms to climb. Terry wields a yo-yo as a weapon, which can be directed in different directions while holding down fire. However, the yo-yo's recoil can push him off a platform or into danger. Across twelve levels, players must cross rivers and defeat enemies like hedgehogs and snails. Hidden bonus items and time extensions can be found. The game allows players to resume from the last level reached, effectively granting unlimited continues.
