Thrusta puts you in control of a spaceship navigating a single open area where scattered eggs continuously release creatures. Your goal is to eliminate these beings by cleverly using the eggs and the layout of the level, as each used egg later reappears on a different platform. At the same time airborne enemies attack, forcing you to balance movement and offense while relying on your ship's laser for relief. Only after every threat has been cleared can you move on – a dynamic blend of manoeuvring, timing, and constant awareness.
