Thunder Road

Commodore 64 · 1980 · WOR

· Developer: Donald L. & Freda L. Boner

In Thunder Road, you start on your farm outside Possum Hollow, aiming to make one final risky moonshine run. Driving your souped-up Chevy through hills and hollows, you must avoid the sheriff and revenuers. This text-based adventure challenges you with commands like “enter car” or “go west.” Succeed, and you may earn enough for college – fail, and the law or the mountain will get you.
