The Token of Ghall begins like a classic fireside tale and grows into a dark fantasy adventure filled with lost hope and final sacrifice. The story of King Ghall, the summoned warrior Ghunlh, and the secretly hidden token gives the world an immediate sense of mystery and tragedy. When the traveler accepts the challenge and sets out alone into the wilderness, the old legend becomes a personal quest of his own. That shift from a told legend to a lived journey is what gives the game its fairy-tale atmosphere and its underlying sense of danger.
