Topografie Nederland is an educational game that teaches the locations and names of cities, rivers, lakes, and regions in the Netherlands. It offers three modes: "Opzoeken" (Lookup), "Overhoring" (Quiz), and "Het Stedenspel" (The City Game), as well as four difficulty levels. In the Lookup mode, the player enters a name, and the game displays its location on the map. In the Quiz mode, the game shows a random location, and the player must correctly input its name, with typos counted as incorrect. The main mode, The City Game, involves piloting a helicopter to a displayed location before time runs out. Correctly visited locations earn points, but after five mistakes, the game ends. As the difficulty level increases, lesser-known locations and rivers are included.
