Usurper combines a warlike fantasy premise with direct action, casting you as a brutal ruler on a campaign of violence and destruction. Its introduction makes it immediately clear that this is no noble heroic tale, but a dark struggle in which you raid villages and cut down your enemies without mercy. That harsh and uncompromising atmosphere gives the game a distinctive appeal and makes it feel noticeably tougher than many of its contemporaries.
