Vault of Terror takes place in the once peaceful kingdom of Sarnoth, which has been conquered by the serpent-like Naga. After a series of sinister omens, the creatures storm the castle, slaughter its inhabitants, and drive out the king while seizing his crown. As an adventurer, you enter the dungeons beneath the fortress to hunt down and destroy the Naga. The goal is to recover the crown and restore the kingdom to its rightful ruler.
